WWE is returning to Puerto Rico for Backlash, and this event is stacked with exciting matches. Grammy-winner Bad Bunny will be the host of the event in his hometown of Puerto Rico. However, Bad Bunny will also be in action as he faces Damian Priest in a San Juan Street Fight.
Backlash is WWE’s first major event in Puerto Rico since the now-defunct New Year’s Revolution event in 2005. One of the most anticipated matches on the card is a first-time meeting between Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar. Rhodes had his rematch against Roman Reigns delayed after Lesnar turned on him.
Additionally, both women’s championships will be on the line. Rhea Ripley will defend the SmackDown championship against Zelina Vega, and Bianca Belair will put the Raw championship at stake against IYO SKY. The United States championship will also be up for grabs in a triple threat match between Austin Theory, Bobby Lashley, and Bronson Reed.

Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar: Rhodes issued a challenge to Lesnar after being betrayed by him, and the match was made official for Backlash.
Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, and Riddle vs. The Bloodline: Zayn and Owens ended The Usos’ tag team reign at WrestleMania 39, and with Riddle’s return, a six-man tag team match was booked.
United States Championship – Austin Theory (c) vs. Bobby Lashley vs. Bronson Reed: Theory will defend his title against both Lashley and Reed in a triple threat match.
Raw Women’s Championship – Bianca Belair (c) vs. IYO SKY: SKY earned her title shot by winning a triple threat match and will challenge Belair for the Raw Women’s Championship.
SmackDown Women’s Championship – Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Zelina Vega: Vega requested a title shot against Ripley, and the match was granted due to their ongoing feud.
Seth Rollins vs. Omos: A surprise match announced for Backlash between Rollins and Omos. There have been no recent interactions between them.
Bad Bunny vs. Damian Priest (San Juan Street Fight): Bunny and Priest, former tag team partners, will face off in a street fight match.
