Thiago Messi was not part of any club before joining Miami’s academy. However, he has already been spotted playing after the senior team’s Leagues Cup victory over Atlanta United last month.
Thiago is not the first child of a famous soccer player to join Inter Miami. David Beckham’s son Romeo previously played for the team before moving to Brentford B in January. Harvey, the son of former head coach Phil Neville, is currently under contract with the team but is on loan at USL Championship side Loudoun United.
