2023 WWE Fastlane: Predictions, Card, Matches, PPV Preview, Start Time, Date, and Location

WWE is hosting Fastlane at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on Saturday. The event features several exciting matches, including John Cena’s return to action in his first televised match since WrestleMania.

Cena will team up with LA Knight to take on Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso of The Bloodline. This comes after Knight came to Cena’s rescue when The Bloodline injured AJ Styles, who was originally planned to be Cena’s tag partner.

Jey Uso will also be in action, teaming up with Cody Rhodes to challenge Finn Balor and Damian Priest of The Judgment Day for the undisputed WWE tag team championship.

The card also includes a triple threat match for the WWE women’s championship, with IYO SKY defending the title against Asuka and Charlotte Flair. Additionally, there will be a tag match between LWO and Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits.

Let’s see who the CBS Sports experts are predicting to win each match at WWE Fastlane, which will stream live on Peacock on Saturday at 8 p.m. ET with a kickoff show starting one hour earlier.

2023 WWE Fastlane card, predictions

World Heavyweight Championship — Seth Rollins (c) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura

The story of Nakamura targeting Rollins’ injured back has made him a legitimate contender for the championship. However, it is unlikely that Nakamura will win the title at this time, as Rollins is expected to continue as the face of Raw. Pick: Seth Rollins retains the title

John Cena & LA Knight vs. The Bloodline (Jimmy Uso & Solo Sikoa)

This match is seen as a breakout moment for LA Knight, who has been well-received by fans. Pairing him with Cena is a fitting way to elevate Knight further. The Bloodline has elevated its members but can afford to lose occasionally. This win will set the stage for Cena and Knight to face Roman Reigns later in the year. Pick: Cena & Knight win

Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship — The Judgment Day (Finn Balor & Damian Priest) (c) vs. Cody Rhodes & Jey Uso

The tensions between Balor and Priest have been building, but it is likely that Drew McIntyre will make an appearance and cost Rhodes and Uso the win. This would lead to a new feud for Rhodes as he continues his pursuit of a world title victory. Pick: The Judgment Day retain the titles

WWE Women’s Championship — Iyo Sky (c) vs. Asuka vs. Charlotte Flair

Iyo Sky brings freshness to the women’s division, and it is expected that she will retain the title against Asuka and Charlotte Flair. Sky has many potential matchups and storylines ahead, making her reign promising. Pick: Iyo Sky retains the title

Latino World Order vs. Bobby Lashley & The Street Profits

The union of Lashley and The Street Profits is a notable collaboration. While Latino World Order is a midcard stable designed to boost other talents, Lashley and The Street Profits’ organization is too new to take a loss at this major show. This match will showcase SmackDown’s new bullies. Pick: Bobby Lashley & The Street Profits win
