Blaise Taylor, who starred at defensive again at Arkansas State from 2014-17 and served as a scout for the Tennessee Titans and staffer at Utah State, has been arrested and charged with two counts of first-degree homicide after his girlfriend and unborn child died in early 2023, per The Tennesseean. 

Jade Benning, the girlfriend of Taylor, was transported to Vanderbilt College Medical Heart on Feb. 23, after Taylor referred to as 911 to report that she was having some kind of allergic response. Benning died within the hospital on her twenty fifth birthday, March 6, whereas her unborn little one, who Taylor is assumed to have fathered, died on Feb. 27.

Following an investigation, crime lab scientists and a health worker decided that Benning was, “poisoned with out her information.” A Nashville grand jury returned an indictment in opposition to Taylor on Wednesday, and he was then arrested in Utah. 

Taylor labored as a professional scout for the Titans for 4 years.
