The WWE Night of Champions event is set to take place in Saudi Arabia. While not every title will be on the line, there will be a match between champions and the crowning of a new world heavyweight titleholder.
There are three main matches scheduled for the event. Undisputed tag team champions Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn will defend their titles against undisputed WWE universal champion Roman Reigns and Bloodline enforcer Solo Sikoa. Brock Lesnar will face Cody Rhodes in a Backlash rematch. Seth Rollins and AJ Styles will go head-to-head in the finals of a tournament to determine Raw’s new world heavyweight champion.
WWE events in Saudi Arabia are known for their spectacle. This year, fans can look forward to a dream match between Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus, two legendary female superstars from different eras.
The event will also feature dominant intercontinental champion Gunther facing his latest challenger, Mustafa Ali. Gunther has been wreaking havoc on the SmackDown brand and his move to Raw opens up new opportunities for challengers. Ali will be the first to test his mettle against Gunther after earning the opportunity by defeating Dolph Ziggler.
