Georgia has added five-star linebacker Justin Williams to its already impressive 2024 recruiting class. Williams chose to commit to the Bulldogs over Oregon, after being offered by Georgia in March and visiting the school in May. He joins quarterback Dylan Raiola and cornerback Ellis Robinson IV as the highest-ranked commits for the Bulldogs, who are the two-time defending College Football Playoff champions.
Williams, who is ranked 16th overall in the 2024 class and the second best linebacker, becomes the third five-star commitment for Georgia in this recruiting cycle. The Bulldogs now have a total of 26 commitments for the Class of 2024, with 10 being in the top 100 rankings.
Analyst Gabe Brooks describes Williams as a highly athletic and explosive off-ball linebacker prospect. He possesses great physical traits and impressive combine testing data, making him a potential high-impact player at the collegiate level.
Georgia is currently aiming to have the top-ranked recruiting class of all time, hoping to surpass Texas A&M’s 2022 class. While the Bulldogs are well ahead of Ohio State in the 2024 rankings, they still have a long way to go to beat the Aggies’ record-breaking class. Georgia is also in the running for three more five-star prospects, but they will need strong performances from other top-ranked four-star recruits to challenge Texas A&M’s recruiting score.
