The 2023 World Series has arrived. The Texas Rangers and Arizona Diamondbacks are competing for the title. The Rangers won Game 1 with a 6-5 victory in 11 innings. Corey Seager and Adolis García had crucial home runs in the game, bringing the Rangers closer to their first World Series championship.
Texas is hosting Games 1 and 2, as well as Games 6 and 7 if necessary. Game 2 is scheduled for Saturday night.
The Diamondbacks, who were the sixth and final seed in the National League bracket, defeated the Brewers, Dodgers, and Phillies to reach the World Series. This is their second appearance in franchise history, having previously won the title in 2001 against the Yankees.
On the other hand, the Rangers are still chasing their first World Series trophy. This is their third time in the Fall Classic.
If a Game 7 is needed, it will take place on Saturday, Nov. 4. Here’s the complete World Series schedule.
